The filtration system reduces chlorine taste and odor for clean, fresh tasting water. Upgrade to the F-601R Replacement Filter to reduce chlorine taste and odor, lead, mercury, asbestos, cysts and chemicals for cleaner, healthier water.
Quick-connect plumbing fittings make installation a snap and the sanitary quick-change filter cartridge is replaced in only seconds! This system is ideal for use virtually anywhere filtered water is needed, such as with ice makers and refrigerators.
Why Add Hot Water Too?
Consider how often you heat water in the kitchen. When you do, you'll realize just how useful an instant hot water dispenser can be in your kitchen. With 200-degree-Fahrenheit near-boiling water available at your fingertips, you'll get more done in less time. Instead of waiting for water to heat, you can finish countless kitchen tasks in seconds and relax or get back to your guests.
An InSinkErator hot water dispenser does more than provide filtered hot water for preparing instant foods and beverages, it is also an incredible kitchen appliance. Use it to loosen stubborn jar lids, prepare pasta, warm baby food, clean crusty pans, cream butter, melt chocolate, remove fruit skins for pies, clean cheese graters, scoop ice cream, cut cheese, and warm pancake syrup. These are just a few examples of the many uses of an instant hot water dispenser.
Chilled Water Instantly, How Does That Work?
Water from the supply line goes into the tank and is cooled anywhere from 33 degrees to 45 degrees Fahrenheit, depending on the setting you choose on the front-mounted temperature adjustment on the tank. When the cold side valve is activated, the cold water goes from the tank and flows out of the dispenser's spout. Release the handle, and the Chilled Water Tanks' valve will close automatically, so the cold water will stop flowing.
Easy to Install!
The InSinkErator Chilled Water Tank features quick-connect fittings for easy installation. It also features an adjustable temperature gauge, so you can adjust the water to your liking. Once connected to an InSinkErator cold-only dispenser or hot/cold water dispenser (sold separately) and optional Filtration System, this compact 1/3-gallon tank will give you instant access to filtered cold water--up to 1.0 gallons an hour!
An Environmentally Friendly Choice
Today, many environmental enthusiasts say the packaging and shipping associated with bottled water that uses fossil fuels has a negative environmental impact. According to published reports, of the billions of water bottles Americans purchase each year about 80 percent end up in landfills. Unfortunately, buried water bottles can take hundreds of years to biodegrade. With an InSinkErator water dispenser and the Chilled Water Tank, the need for bottled water becomes obsolete, as it delivers ice-cold drinking water at just pennies a glass. A great alternative to bottled water--less cost and less waste.
